Abby is an oil painter based in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. She is also the mother of young twins and a practicing lawyer. Her life moves between these roles and her painting practice grows out of the quiet spaces in between. She particularly enjoys painting nostalgic family memories, quiet encounters with nature, birds at rest or in motion, and the wide, familiar landscapes of Saskatchewan.

Abby paints at night, once her twins are tucked into bed and the day has settled. Working mostly after the sun has gone down, she is drawn to capturing sunlight and how it fades, pools, and returns as shadow. Her paintings are expressive and intuitive, focused less on exact detail and more on capturing atmosphere and emotion. They focus on how sunlight moves across a surface, how memories settle over time, and the stillness found in simple and sometimes overlooked moments.
